Ticket Types Explained

Every request you submit falls into one of four categories. Choosing the right one ensures your ticket reaches the right team from the start โ€” no detours, no delays.

General Question / How-To

You have a question about how something works, or need guidance on how to accomplish a task in the system. No malfunction โ€” just information or a walkthrough you need from our team.

Common examples

  • How to configure a specific feature or setting
  • Questions about system capabilities or product limits
  • Requests for documentation or training resources
  • Clarification on a process or expected behaviour
  • Best practices for a particular workflow

Operational Request

A routine, system-level task that needs to be carried out on your behalf โ€” not a malfunction, just something that requires action from our team. These requests are handled by our Support and Cloud Operations teams.

Common examples

  • System upgrades or version rollouts
  • Database backups or restores
  • Running a script or scheduled job
  • VPN account creation or deactivation
  • IP whitelisting requests
  • User account administration (creation, password reset, role changes)

Bug Report / Product Issue

Something in the system isn't working the way it should. Use this type when you've encountered an unexpected error, a malfunction, or behaviour that differs from what the product is supposed to do.

Common examples

  • A page or feature that throws an error or crashes
  • Data not saving or displaying incorrectly
  • A workflow that used to work but has stopped functioning
  • Integration or sync failures with a connected system
  • Unexpected behaviour after a recent update

Suggest an Improvement / Enhancement

Have an idea that would make the product work better for your team? Use this type to submit feature requests and enhancement suggestions. These are reviewed and considered as part of the ongoing product development process.

Common examples

  • A new feature or capability you'd like to see added
  • An improvement to an existing workflow or interface
  • A reporting or data export option that doesn't currently exist
  • A new integration with another tool your team uses
  • Usability or accessibility improvements
